Bulk Dried Seafood Shipping & Container Guide
Smaller wholesale orders (100lb–1,000lb) typically ship by standard freight carrier. Pallet and container-scale orders (20ft / 40ft) ship by ocean freight, with lead times and documentation varying by destination.
Understanding Incoterms
FOB (Free On Board): we deliver the goods to the origin port; the buyer arranges and pays for shipping from there.
CIF (Cost, Insurance & Freight): we arrange shipping and insurance to the destination port; the buyer handles customs clearance from there.
DDP (Delivered Duty Paid): we handle shipping, duties and delivery to the buyer's address. Best for first-time importers.
